Wyrd & Wonder TBR!

I recently discovered what the Wyrd & Wonder is, and it sounds like something I definitely want to be a part of! I have always wanted to read more fantasy books than I already do, especially since I have so many on my shelf that I have not read.

For those of you that don’t know (as I did not until a couple days ago), the Wyrd & Wonder Challenge was created by the wonderful folks over at There’s Always Room for One More. Essentially, it is a challenge to make everything of the month of May fantasy focused.

I first found out about this from Zezee With Books’ post, and instantly fell in love with the idea. With that being said, I am going to do my best to follow some of the prompts that the challenge outlines (it outlines daily challenges for posts). I will try to follow at least one or two of them a week. As well, like Zezee, I will attempt to keep all of my content fantasy-based as best as I can. I will also try to only review fantasy books in the month of May–unless I have other reviews queued up.

I hope to read at least one book a week, so I will add a couple more than that to my TBR in order to compensate for what I may or may not be able to read. Without any further ado, here is my TBR for this challenge!

  1. A Darker Shade of Magic by V.E. Schwab
  2. Lirael by Garth Nix
  3. Throne of Glass by Sarah J Maas
  4. The Final Empire by Brandon Sanderson
  5. Finnikin of the Rock by Melina Marchetta
  6. Abhorsen by Garth Nix

Most of these books have been on my TBR for the longest time! I bought some of them based off of the hype when they came out (cough-throne of glass-cough) and never got around to them. Others, I have been far too daunted to read them in fear of not enjoying them, or never being able to finish them. What better to time to start them than May, though, right?

Are any of you participating in the Wyrd & Wonder Challenge? If so, what are you thinking about reading? Let me know!

Happy reading,

Sarah x
